Product Description

Thank you for stopping by! Due to family needs and the volume of work at my outside job, made-to-order or custom orders are no longer available. At this time I am only selling already made dolls from my inventory. We closed our eBay store, but have listings from time to time under the ID: elthea13theraggedyannlady .

You can see more pictures of dolls I have made at this url: www.cathyhamiltoncapra.com

Handmade dolls are a gift treasured for generations. I made the first Raggedy Ann doll in 1974 and my business was born in 1975. From 1975 through 1987 I sold the dolls on consignment, where I was given the nickname "The Raggedy Ann Lady" by the owners of the "Purple Pocket", a yarn shop in Spokane, Washington. I also has sold Raggedy Ann and Andy dolls at craft shows and in craft malls.

In addition to Raggedy Ann and Andy, I make other dolls, doll clothes, stuffed toys, quilts, clothing and accessories as well. You will find these items from time to time in other pages of this store and on eBay under the user name of elthea13. We recently changed our eBay name to elthea13theraggedyannlady to tie into this store.

All dolls made by Cathy Hamilton-Capra will be washable, or the parts not washable will be removable. I firmly believe children of all ages should enjoy being able to play with their dolls.

Some dolls will have buttons not suitable for small children and you can easily clip them off with small scissors or a seam ripper tool. We remove buttons and send them in a separate plastic bag for later, if you ask.

Only name brand fabrics, threads, yarns, trims, and fiberfill are used to make each doll. All materials are new and were purchased directly from the manufacturer, from a chain brand retail store, or a merchant on the Internet. We don't recycle fabric or stuffing, we only use new materials.

Each doll is packaged in a plastic bag to protect from damage during shipping. Please immediately remove the bag, cut holes in it, and safely dispose of the bag in a manner that will prevent a child from suffocating.

No two dolls are ever exactly alike, if you see one now, please don't wait as fabrics are in limited quantity.

Please note, the shipping fee includes insurance and delivery confirmation tracking, as well as a few cents for a handling fee that covers the listing & fees charged to process your payment.

Thank you for visiting the store!
