PAYMENT METHOD: We only accept payments through PayPal. In the checkout pages, once your order is complete, click on "get PayPal Information" to go through the PayPal check out page or you may encounter difficulties completing your order.
If you don't have a PayPal account, you can get one at www.paypal.com. Once you sign up for a PayPal account, you can pay by e-check, credit or debit cards, and by funds you upload directly to PayPal. We use PayPal checkout system. Your personal information and credit card numbers are kept with PayPal and we do not have access to them, so your information is private and safe.
SHIPPING: We ship Monday-Friday by USPS Priority Mail with insurance and delivery confirmation charges built into the price you are charged for shipping.
Occasionally, we will upgrade your order to UPS if the cost/time factor are the same or less and the item is large.
RETURN POLICY:
Books, Magazines, shabby chic, clothing, all items labeled "used" are sold as-is, no returns. This will be clearly stated in the item listings.
Handmade crafts and dolls are sold eligible for return and refund. Please use our email address to contact us if there is a need for a return because of damage in shipping and handling, which will be covered with USPS Insurance. If the item is defective or damaged, and not as the result of shipping, please email immediately for options such as replacement or refund--this is only good for 5 days after receipt of package. The receipt date is shown in the USPS website package tracking function.
REFUND POLICY: We will refund the actual cost of the item and the California sales tax, but the refund will not include any shipping or insurance charges.
REPAIRS:
We only repair dolls made by Cathy Hamilton-Capra. You can find a listing for doll repair in your yellow pages or on the Internet.
If you need repairs for a doll I made, or new clothes, please send us an email so we can discuss what needs to be done and the charges for work and shipping. We charge very small fees for our repair work. Hair may not be able to be replaced, we would need a picture of the damage.
